THE MYSTERY OF THE RAPTURE
(Mysteries Of The Bible)
1. Paul Says, There Are Mysteries Of God In The Scriptures And It Is The Duty Of Every Christian Espescially Ministers And Teachers And Preachers Of God’s Word To Be Stewards Of These Mysteries
1 Corinthians 4:1-2 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
Note:
* The mysteries are important for us to study because they lay the basic foundation of the christian faith
* The reason why many christians are not rooted and grounded In the word of God is because pastors and preachers do not teach this great subject of the mysteries of the word of God
* It is our duty to faithfully preach these mysteries in the word of God, so that these doctrines can strenghten and build them up so that they will never be shaken of their faith and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who would ask them for a reason for the hope that is inside of them
* It is important that we study these mysteries
SECTION 2: MYSTERY OF THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH
* God revelaed this mystery to Paul
1. Verse Showing The Rapture Of The Church Is A Mystery
1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
2. Rapture Is In the Bible. It Means Caught Up
1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
3. The Rapture Is Important Because It Is Called Our Blessed Hope
Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
4. 2 Key Passages In The Bible About The Mystery Rapture For The Church
a. 1st Key Passage (Mystery Of The Rapture): There's Gonna Be A Time When God Will Sound The Trumpet And We Will All Change To Heavenly Incorruptible And Immortal Bodies And Death Will Be Conquered
1 Corinthians 15:51-58 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
* Paul calls the doctrine of the rapture as a mystery
* The mystery is not all of the born again chritians will die. Some will never die because they will be raptured
* Our bodies will be turned to an incorruptible body
b. 2nd Key Passage: God Is Coming, With The Trump Of God The Dead Rises, Those Remaining Alive Will Be Caught Up With The Dead To Be With The Lord
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
* Noticed Paul used the word "we". Paul includes himself assuming the rapture will come in his lifetime.
5. Wouldn’t It Be Wonderful If We Are Part Of The Rapture And To Look At Death In The Face With These Words Because We Can Cheat Death?
1 Corinthians 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
6. The General Principle Is Everyone Is Appointed To Die Once
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
7. What Happens When A Christian Dies?
*We are made of 3 parts (body, soul and spirit)
* Jehovah Witness says when we are dead, we cease to exist
a. When We Are Alive, We Are Absent From God, When We Die, We Are Present With God
2 Corinthians 5:6-8 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
b. Our Soul Leaves Our Body When We Die
Genesis 35:18 And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin.
c. When A Non Believer Dies, The Soul Goes To Hell
Luke 16:19-24 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
8. Why Our Soul Goes To Heaven? When We Are Saved, We Are Sealed With The Holy Spirit
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
* day of redemption = Rapture
* what is the day of redemption? its the day of redemption of our body
a. When We Are Saved, We Have Our Soul Redeemed
Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
b. When Will Our Body Be Redeemed? Day Of Redemption Is The Rapture. Our Body Gets A Glorified Body
Romans 8:15-17, 23, 29 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
* At the rapture when Jesus comes back, our body get a glorified body the same as Jesus's glorified body
c. When Jesus Comes, He Will Change Our Body Fashioned Like Unto His Glorious Body
Philipians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
d. When Jesus Appears, We Shall Be Like Him
1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Note:
* The rapture is the day Jesus will give us a glorified body like the body of Jesus when He rose from the grave
9. What Is Our Glorified Body Going To Be Like? A Body Like Christ
a. A Body With No Flesh & Blood
1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
* That means that our blood is left behind. When rapture comes, probably we may spill our blood then only dissapear
b. When Jesus Rose From The Dead, He Rose Without Any Blood, He Hath Flesh And Bones
Luke 24:36-37, 39 And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
c. A Body That Can Vanish
Luke 24:30-31 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
d. In His Glorified Body, Jesus Could Eat
Luke 24:41-43 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?
42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
43 And he took it, and did eat before them.
e. A Body That Can Travel Very Fast: Jesus Met Mary At Earth Went Back To Heaven And Then He Comes Back Down To Meet His Disciples
John 20:17, 29 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
f. A Body That Can Go Through Doors
John 20:19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
SECTION 3: HOW WILL THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH HAPPEN
1. Its Going To Be Fast: Like A Twinkling Of An Eye
1 Corinthians 15:51-52 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
2. God is Coming With A Shout
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
a. God's Voice Is Like A Thunder
Job 37:1-5 At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place.
2 Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.
3 He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.
4 After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.
5 God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
b. To The Lost World When God Speaks, All They Hear Is The Sound Of Thunder But To Us, We Will Be Able To Hear God Talking Or Calling Out Our Names When The Rapture Happens
John 12:28-29 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.
c. What Is The Voice? "Come Up Hither"
* John talks about a door that opens up in the book of Revelation 4: a type of rapture. John hears a voice say come up hither
d. 3 Times In The Bible That Says "Come Up Hither"
Proverbs 25:7 For better it is that it be said unto thee, Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the prince whom thine eyes have seen.
Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Revelation 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
Note:
* A lot of times, its used in the reference of the type of a rapture taking place
* When the rapture comes, Jesus is going to SHOUT our name, a VOICE will say "come up hither" followed with a TRUMPET sound
3. Trumpet Sound Will Sound
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
4. The Dead Are Gonna Rise From Their Grave First
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
5. When The Dead Is Ressurected, God Calls Them By Name
a. Jesus Directed To That Young Man
Luke 7:14-15 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.
b. Jesus Directed At The Maid
Luke 8:54 And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.
c. Jesus Directed At Lazarus
John 11:43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
6. When God Calls Us Out, He Calls Us By Name
John 10:3,7, 11, 14 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
7. The Living Will Be Raptured
1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
8. We Are Going To Leave Our Blood Behind When We Get Raptured
1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
* flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God
* Blood is left behind because blood cannot inherit the kingdom
9. Our Body Of Flesh Cannot Go To Heaven But Its Going To Be Transformed Into An Incorruptible Body
1 Corinthians 15:49, 51-53 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
10. We Are Going To Meet Jesus In The Air First Before We Go To Heaven
1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
* caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
11. From The Clouds To Heaven Will Definitely Be Faster Than The Speed Of Light Because This Passage Shows It
John 20:17-20 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.
Matthew 28:8-9 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
* Jesus told Mary Magdelene don't touch Him because He have not ascended to heaven to meet God the Father. Then Jesus went to the Father and came back to meet His disciples. They touched Him. It all happened within the same day
12. There Will Be A Voice Of The Archangel
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
a. There is Only One Archangel And His Name Is Michael
Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
b. Michael Is Going To Be There Because He Had To Be Working In The Tribulation
Revelation 12:7-9 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
SECTION 4: RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH IS DIFFERENT FROM RESURRECTION OF THE OLD TESTAMENT SAINTS & TRIBULATION SAINTS
1. Ressurection Of Saints At The 2nd Coming Of Jesus Is Not A Mystery
* every Jew knew about it. The old testament saints and New Testament Jews knew about it
2. Old Testament People Knew They Will Be Resurrected: This Is Talking About A Valley Of Dry Bones And How These Dry Bones Came Back To Life. This Hope Of Ressurection Was Already Stated In The Old Testament
Ezekial 37:1-14 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
* siniews is a piece of tough fibrous tissue uniting muscles to bones; a tendon or ligament
2. Martha Knew About It: Jesus Said His Brother Shall Live, Martha Said She Knows That His Brother Shall Rise Again In The Ressurection At The Last Day
John 11:23-24 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
Note:
* The church rapture revealed to Paul is a mystery. None of the Jews knew about it
* In the tribulation, nobody is “in Christ” like we are in the church age
SECTION 5: WHY THE CHURCH WILL NOT GO THROUGH THE TRIBULATION AND WHY THERE HAS TO BE A PRE TRIBULATION RAPTURE FOR THE CHURCH
A. Verse In The Bible Showing Christians Are Already In Heaven When The Tribulation Starts
B. Tribulation Is Reserved For Israel Not The Church
C. Paul Says People In The Tribulation Are “They” (Other People) But We Are Chosen To Salvation And Called To Glory
D. Paul Says We Are Not Overtaken Unawares, We Are Not Appointed To Wrath
E. Different Salvation (Tribulation Saints & Church Age Saints)
F. Secret Rapture Vs Public Rapture
G. Sealed By The Holy Spirit Vs Holy Spirit Comes And Go
H. Passed From Hellfire Unto Eternal Life Vs Danger Of Hellfire
I. Judgement Seat Of Christ
J. The Church Is Not Mentioned In The Tribulation
K. Another Gospel Will Be Preached During The Tribulation And Will Caused Contradiction Of Our Gospel And Their Gospel
A. VERSE IN THE BIBLE SHOWING CHRISTIANS ARE ALREADY IN HEAVEN WHEN THE TRIBULATION STARTS
1. Tribulation Starts At Revelation 6 (The 4 Horsemen) But At Revelation 5, Christians Are Already In Heaven
Revelation 5:9-10 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
* Some will argue this is not christians but 24 elders
* These are christians because we are made kings and priests and every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
* After chapter 5 then only at chapter 6, the tribulation starts
a. This Verse Shows Christians Are Made Kings And Jesus Washed Us
Revelation 1:5-6 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
B. TRIBULATION IS RESERVED FOR ISRAEL NOT THE CHURCH
1. Tribulation Is Known As Jacob's Trouble
Jeremiah 30:6-7 Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.
2. Its A Time Israel Have To Go Through For Their National Salvation So That God Can Take Away Their Sins
Romans 11:25-27 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
3. Tribulation Is Appointed To Daniels's People (The Jews), Daniel's Holy City (Jerusalem)
Daniel 9:24-25, 27 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
* This is the only verse that scholars get the idea of 7 year tribulation
* 70 weeks, 69 weeks has passed, one week left
* Noticed verse 24: to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness
* Its not not for christians because it takes 70 weeks long to settle all these?
C. PAUL SAYS PEOPLE IN THE TRIBULATION ARE “THEY” (OTHER PEOPLE) BUT WE ARE CHOSEN TO SALVATION AND CALLED TO GLORY
1 Paul Says People Who Are In The Tribulation Are "They" (Other People)
2 Thessalonians 2:7-12 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
* Noticed verse 10: they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
* Noticed verse 11: God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
* Noticed verse 12: they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2. Paul Says "But We" Are Chosen To Salvation And Called By The Gospel To Glory
2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
* Noticed verse 14: called us by the gospel to obtaining glory
a. Called To Glory Means We Are Going Up To Heaven: Christ Raptures Us Up In Glory With Him
Colossians 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
* That means we are raptured to heaven and we don't go through the tribulation
Wrong Teachings:
* Some say christians have to go through tribulation
Answer (1): Tribulation Simply Means Hardship
Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Answer (2): The Tribulation That We Are Talking About Is Unlike Other Tribulations Before And It Is Connected To Antichrist 666 Apocalyptic End Times Events
Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
D. PAUL SAYS WE ARE NOT OVERTAKEN UNAWARES, WE ARE NOT APPOINTED TO WRATH. THE TIME OF THE TRIBULATION IS ALSO KNOWN AS WRATH
1. Paul Says We Are Not Overtaken Unawares, We Are Not Part Of The Drunken, We Are Not Appointed To Wrath, Alive Or Dead We Are Going To Live With Christ Jesus
1 Thessalonians 5:2-11 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
* Noticed verse 2-4: we are not overtaken unawares
* Noticed verse 7: we are not part of the drunken
* Noticed verse 9-10: we are not appointed to wrath but to obtain salvation whether we are alive or dead we will live with Christ
a. The Tribulation Is Not One Day, The Entire Period Of Tribulation Is Called Days (Plural) Of Wrath
Luke 21:21-23 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
* Noticed verse 22: days of vengeance (plural)
* Noticed verse 23: those days (plural)
b. People In The Tribulation Are Those Overtaken Unawares, Drunken In The Night. The Verse Tells Us To Be Accounted Worthy To Escape It.
Luke 21:34-36 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
* How to be accounted worthy? If we are not part of that category of verse 34. Not to be in the group of overtaken unawares
E. DIFFERENT SALVATION (TRIBULATION & CHURCH AGE)
1. People In The Tribulation Have To Endure To The End To Be Saved
Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
a. How Do We Know Its About The Tribulation? Because The Context Shows
Matthew 24:3, 21, 29 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
* Noticed verse 3: it says end of the world
* Noticed verse 21: it says great tribulation
* Noticed verse 3: it says tribulation
* That entire chapter is about tribulation
2. Christians Do Not Endure To The End For Our Salvation. Christ Endures To The End For Us: Christ Confirms Us To End To Be Blameless
1 Corinthians 1:7-8 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Wrong Teachings (1):
* Some people will say we endure to the end because of Christ
Answer (1a): When We Endure, It Is A Work. Its Not Christ Saving Us.
2 Timothy 2:3, 5-6 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
Answer (1b): Work Is Not Our Way For Salvation. Christians Are Not Saved By Works, We Are Saved By Faith Alone
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Answer (1c): People In The Tribulation Have To Endure To The End Because Their Salvation Is By Faith And Works: They Have To Resist The Mark Of The Beast By Keeping The Commandments Of God And Faith Of Jesus
Revelation 14:9-12 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Wrong Teachings (2):
* Some people say Matthew 24 is for christians because we are the elect of God and we have to endure to the end to be saved
They Use This Verse To Proof Christians Are The Elect
Matthew 24:13, 24 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Answer (2a): Matthew 24 Is For Jews Not Christians Because Of The Context Of Jewish Terms: Judea, Sabbath
Matthew 24:16, 20 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Wrong Teachings (3):
* They use this verse to proof christians are the elect
They Use This Verse To Proof That Christians Are The Elect: The Elect Obtained It But Not Israel
Romans 11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded
Answer (3a): We Are The Elect Concerning The Christian Gospel But Concerning The Elect As A Nation, Israel Is The Beloved For The Father's Sake. During The End Times, God Will Come And Save The Nation Of Israel
Romans 11:7, 25-28 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
* This is not about individual salvation but about national salvation
F. SECRET RAPTURE VS PUBLIC RAPTURE
1. The Christian Rapture Is A Mystery. Not For The World To See
1 Corinthians 15:51-53 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
a. What Is A Mystery? It Is Something Secret Not Known
Romans 16:25-26 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
b. Christians Are Revealed The Mystery
1 Corinthians 2:7, 10 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1 Corinthians 4:1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
2. The Post Tribulation Rapture Is Public. When Jesus Comes, All Eyes Will See
Matthew 24:26-31 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
G. SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT VS HOLY SPIRIT COMES AND GO
1. Holy Spirit Is Sealed Within Us Until The Day Of Redemption
Ephesians 1:13-14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
a. Day Of Redemption Is The Rapture
Romans 8:19-23 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
2. Holy Spirit Comes And Go During The Tribulation: Parable Of The 10 Virgins. Their Oil Gone Out. God Says He Does Not Know Them
Matthew 25:1-12 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
* 10 virgins. 5 wise and 5 foolish
* Foolish had lamps but no oil
* Oil symbolises the Holy Spirit
3. Anointing Oil Symbolises The Holy Spirit
a. The Oil Anointing Is The Holy Spirit
1 Samuel 16:13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.
b. Jesus Called The Anointing Upon Him As The Spirit
Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
* When Jesus was preaching on the book of Isaiah, Jesus mentions that the anointing is connected to the Holy Spirit>
c. The Anointing Is The Holy Spirit
1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
4. In The Tribulation, They Can Loose Their Salvation But For Christians, We Are Eternally Secured
John 10:14, 27-30 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30 I and my Father are one.
5. Christians Are Sealed By The Holy Spirit Until The Day Of Rapture Even If We Sin
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
* even if we sin (grieve) the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is still sealed in us until the rapture
H. PASSED FROM HELLFIRE UNTO ETERNAL LIFE VS DANGER OF HELLFIRE
1. Christians Are Promised That We Are Passed From Hellfire Unto Eternal Life
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
2. People In The Tribulation Are In Danger Of Eternal Hellfire Because Of The Mark Of The Beast
Revelation 14:9-11 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
a. Without The Mark Of The Beast, People In The Tribulation Cannot Buy Or Sell
Revelation 13:16-18 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
I. JUDGEMENT SEAT OF CHRIST
1. Christians Will Be Judged At The Judgement Seat Of Christ
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
2. Details Of Judgment Seat Of Christ. God Will Judge Us For Our Service. Burning Off Bad Deeds To Be Clean And Getting Rewards For Good Deeds
1 Corinthians 3:13-15 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
3. The Marriage Of The Lamb: Wife Is Ready Arrayed With Fine Linen Clean And White
Revelation 19:7-9 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
* Fine linen is the righteousness of saints
4. Who Is The Bride Of Christ? Its The Church: To Present To Himself A Glorious Church, No Spot, Wrinkle, Holy Without Blemish
Ephesians 5:25-27, 32 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
5. The Marriage Of The Lamb: Wife Is Ready Arrayed With Fine Linen Clean And White. The Fine Linen Is The Righteousness Of Saints
6. 2nd Coming Of Christ Happens After The Marriage Of The Lamb. We Follow Jesus Down From Heaven To Destroy His Enemies: Armies In Heaven Followed Him Clothed In Fine Linen Clean And White
Revelation 19:11-19 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
Note:
* At the Marriage of the Lamb, the wife is supposed to be clean.
* How do we get clean and our own righteousness? Its by the Judgement seat of Christ
* We will be in heaven to go through the Judgement seat of Christ and Marriage supper of the Lamb while the tribulation is happening on earth
J. THE CHURCH IS NOT MENTIONED IN THE TRIBULATION
1. We Are Called The Church Of God. We Are Not Called Jews Or Gentiles. Jews And Gentiles Become One In The Body Of Christ (The Church)
Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
1 Corinthians 10:32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:
1 Corinthians 12:13, 27 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
2. In The Tribulation, Church Is Not Mentioned. God Only Mentioned Jews And Gentiles
a. This Is Refering To Jews
Revelation 7:4-8 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
b. This Is Refering To Gentiles
Revelation 7:9-14 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
K. ANOTHER GOSPEL WILL BE PREACHED DURING THE TRIBULATION AND WILL CAUSED CONTRADICTION OF OUR GOSPEL AND THEIR GOSPEL
1. Paul's Gospel Is About The Death, Buriel And Resurrection Of Christ (His Blood Atonement For Our Sins)
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
2. Paul Says If An Angel Or Anybody Preach Any Other Gospel Than Paul's Gospel, Let Them Be Accursed
Galatians 1:8-9 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
3. An Angel Will Be Preaching Another Gospel During The Tribulation: The Everlasting Gospel (To Fear God And Give Glory To God)
Revelation 14:6-7 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
4. The Everlasting Gospel Is Connected To Keeping The Commandments Of God And Faith Of Jesus
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Note:
* If we are in the tribulation, both gospel of Paul and the angel will be contradicting and may caused the angel to be cursed
SECTION 6: WHAT HAPPENS IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE RAPTURE?
1. Judgement Seat Of Christ Takes Place In Heaven (This Is To Judge Christians For Our Service To God)
Romans 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:10-11 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
1 Corinthians 3:10-15 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
3. Tribulation: The Whole Reason God Allows The Antichrist To Take Over The World Is So That He Can Have Them All In One Place When He Comes Back To Destroy Them
Zephaniah 3:8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
4. 2nd Coming Of Christ: Battle Of Armageddon
Revelation 19:11-15 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
Revelation 14:20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
5. Church Comes Back With Jesus At The 2nd Coming Of Christ (They Are Clothed With Fine Linen Clean And White)
Revelation 19:7-8 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
Revelation 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Joel 2:2-11 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
Malachi 3:2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:
6. The Rapture Is Our Blessed Hope. That Hope That Jesus Is Coming Back
Titus 2:12-13 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
