NEW COVENANT: CHURCH AGE
(Covenants)
SECTION 1: JEWS TEMPORARILY BLINDED IN CHURCH AGE

1. Temporarily Israel Is Blinded Until The Fullness Of The Gentiles
Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

2. The Physical Nation Of Israel Will Be Saved In The Future When Jesus Comes
Romans 11:26-27 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
* This did not happen yet: so this is in the future during millenium

3. Judaism Religion Is Enemy Of Christianity
Romans 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

4. God Did Not Spare The Jews And God Says Watch Out Because God Will Not Spare The Gentiles Also
Romans 11:21-22 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
* Natural branches = the Jews

5. The Jews Will Be Grafted In Again
Romans 11:23-24 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?

6. The Covenant With The Jews Is Everlasting
Genesis 17:7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

7. God Will Never Break His Covenant With The Jews
Judges 2:1 And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.

Note:
* If there's a Jew today he is going to be like us because God is temporarily done with the physical nation of Israel
* God is going to restore them again in the future when the antichrist is ruling. They are going to be the good guys and the non Jewish and unbeliever nations will be the bad guys who will aide with the antichrist one world government
* God is going to finish up the non Jews program and restore the physical Jews because he made a covenant a long time ago and he cannot break that covenant eversince Genesis

SECTION 2: CHRISTIAN GOSPEL

1. What Is The Gospel?: The Gospel Is About The Death, Buriel And Resurrection Of Christ (His Blood Atonement For Our Sins)
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
* This is our gospel for Christians in this church age
* Our gospel = believe that Christ died, buried and ressurection

2. Paul's Gospel Was Revealed Directly From Jesus Christ, Anyone Who Preaches Another Gospel From Paul, Let Him Be Accursed
Galatians 1:8-12 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
* Paul said "my gospel" - (1 Cor:15 1-4) death buriel and resurrection of Jesus Christ
* don't preach any other gospel - let him be accursed - means damned - go to hell

SECTION 3: DOCTRINES FOR CHRISTIANS

1. The Entire Bible Is For Us To Use So That We Can Thoroughly Perfect Ourselves In Good Works
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
* How do we know which doctrine applies to us?
* Paul's ministry is addressed to the church
* Paul is responsible for the spiritual teachings of God
* If we want to find right doctrine, we just match it to Paul's doctrine (thats the key) the Pauline epistles (Romans-Philemon)
* When we read the entire bible, or people pull up verses that is confusing, all we do is to match that verse to the Pauline epistles
* If it contradict the Pauline epistles we know that it is mark out
* Another is to read the context of their verses pulled up, to see if it is addresses to Jews
* In the entire bible we can find spiritual dealings and to apply them for us to learn
Eg. Moses split the Red Sea in half: we know this does not apply to us - thats a physical dealing for the Jews. But we can learn a spiritual lesson: our God is so powerful that He can split the sea into half so we should walk by faith in Him

2. Paul’s Writngs Are Address To Christian Churches
Galatians 1:2 And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:

3. If Anyone Who Preaches Another Gospel From Paul, Let Him Be Accursed
Galatians 1:8-9 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

SECTION 4: CHRISTIANS VS IMAGE OF GOD & KINGDOM OF GOD

1. Adam Was Created In The Image Of God
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
* Adam's lost the image of God when he sinned & the spiritual died when he sinned

2. Adam’s Descendants Do Not Have The Image Of God, They Carry The Image Of Adam
Genesis 5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

3. The Gospel of Christ Gives The Image Of God
2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
* Once we are saved by the gospel, the image of God is restored

4. Christians Have Both Image of God & Adam
1 Corinthians 15:47-49 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
* Not everyone have the image of God unless people who choose to receive Jesus for their salvation then only we receive the image of God

5. Except a Man Be Born Again, He Cannot See The Kingdom Of God
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

6. The Spiritual Kingdom Of God Is Within Us
Luke 17:20-21 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
* Kingdom of God is a spiritual kingdom
* Different from the kingdom of heaven which is a physical kingdom

Note:
* Adam's spiritual nature died and he lost the image of God
* Since Adam lost the image of God, he lost the kingdom of God as well
* The kingdom of God is connected to something spiritual
* Adam when he lost the image of God, he lost the spiritual kingdom of God but now its restored in us
* Because we have the spiritual nature alive in us, the spiritual kingdom can be operational and on going
* The spiritual nature died eversince Adam sinned until the Holy Ghost came down on Acts 2 to revive the spiritual workings again
* So ever since that time period, Adam lost the kingdom of God
* So that entire kingdom that time was all physical
* That’s why the Jewish people were fighting and conquering nations and lands because they were building a physical kingdom and that kingdom is called the kingdom of heaven
* That’s why the catholics have it wrong during the dark ages, they were conquering nations and thinking christians are to built the physical kingdom

SECTION 5: CHRISTIANS VS RECEIVING THE HOLY SPIRIT

1. Immediately After We Believe We Are Sealed With The Holy Spirit
Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
* Nothing mentioned about water baptism, laying of hands etc

2. Jesus Preached And Introduced A Spiritual Doctrine That One Will Be Born Again Of The Holy Spirit
John 3:6-7 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
* Its based on believing in Jesus Christ

Note:
* For Jews, it was based on physical: a physical action first, then they receive the Holy Spirit
*. They receive the Holy Spirit after doing physical water baptism, physical laying of hands
* For non Jewish Christian church, it is based on spiritual:. believe first (by faith) then immediately receive the Holy Spirit

SECTION 6: CHRISTIANS VS BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT INTO THE BODY OF CHRIST

1. We Are Baptized Spiritually Into One Body: The Body Of Christ
1 Corinthians 12:13, 27 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
* How to become the body of Christ?

2. By The Gospel We Get Into The The Body Of Christ
Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
* Its by the gospel
* Its salvation by faith in the gospel that automatically makes us the body of Christ and automatically gets is the spiritual baptism and have the holy spirit

3. Kingdom Of God Is Not Physical, Its Spiritual
Romans 14:17-18 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

4. Except A Man Be Born Again, He Cannot See The Kingdom Of God
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

SECTION 7: CHRISTIANS VS WATER BAPTISM

1. Paul's Ministry Is Not To Baptize But To Preach The Gospel, Salvation Is Separated From Baptism
1 Corinthians 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
* because back then they were dealing with Jews, physical dealings is required
* Now, we are dealing with Christian church
* Physical water is done only as an observance. Has nothing to do with spiritual salvation

2. Believe In Jesus To Be Saved
Acts 16:2, 30-31 Which was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium.
30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

3. Water Baptism Is Not For Salvation But After Salvation
Acts 16:32-33 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.
* They were dealing with a Philipian jailer and his family.
* They are not a Jews, these are non Jewish people who have just believed to be saved
* Physical baptism is not part of salvation but only do it after salvation as an observance
* Baptism follows after believing. Baptism wan not done within salvation. Its seperated

4. Believed First, Then Only Baptism
Acts 18:8 And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.

Note:
* Water baptism is done today only as an observance. Nothing to do with our salvation.
* This is different from the Jews. In order to have the Holy Spirit, the Jews had to do physical water baptism first then only they can receive the Holy Spirit because its a physical dealing with a physical nation called Israel
* But for us, God is not dealing with a physical nation. God is dealing with a spiritual nation. So it does not matter what nationality we are at this church age, we are still one in this spiritual nation called christian church.
* What is this spiritual nation? Its just by believing (faith)

SECTION 8: CHRISTIANS VS CIRCUMCISSION

1. Even Though We Don't Have a Physical Circumcission, We Are a Part Of The Circumcised
Romans 4:11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:

2. We Are Circumcised Spiritually, Our Fleshy Body Of Sin Is Cut Off From Us, Circumcission Of Christ
Colossians 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
* When we got saved by faith, God cut us off from the body of sins.
* The body is not the real us, what Jesus saves is something within the body (our soul). Jesus did not save our body of sins.
* When we die, our soul is going to heaven no matter what and our body goes to the grave
* No matter what we sin in the body, its not going to affect our soul
* But we still commit sin in our body
* When we sin in the body, God is going to judge it

3. God Will Judge The Things Done In Our Body Wheter Good Or Bad At The Judgement Seat Of Christ
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Note:
* If we don't know this, we will get confuse with so many doctrine out there and thinking that salvation was the same from the beginning

SECTION 9: CHRISTIANS VS LAW OF MOSES

1. We Are Jews Because Its Based On The Spiritual Not Physical
Romans 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

2. Jesus Death Fulfilled The Moses Law For Us
Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
* handwriting of ordinances = Moses law

3. Observence Of The Physical Law Of Moses Do Not Apply To Us
Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
* Why? Vs 14 Jesus Christ death on the cross fullfilled it for us

4. Christ Sacrifice Freed Us From The Physical Law
Romans 8:2-3 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

5. Law Is Not Of Faith, Jesus Has Redeemed Us From The Law
Galatians 3:12-13 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

6. Before Faith From Jesus They Were Under The Law
Galatians 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

7. Christ Ended The Law But Back In The Old Testament, Then They Had To Live In The Law
Romans 10:4-5 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

8. When We Love Our Neighbours As Ourselves, And Follow The Holy Spirit, We Already Fulfill All The Law
Galatians 5:14-18 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Note:
* Physical law is no longer necessary for the non Jewish Christians church
* The law was only observed for its spiritual aspects since we are born of the spirit and under the law of the spirit not based on the flesh or physical law of Moses

SECTION 10: PHYSICAL WORKS ARE NOT PART OF SALVATION

* Some church teach that if u have faith alone for salvation, then we're supposed to have some of good work that comes out, otherwise we are not really saved

1. No Works, By Believing, Our Faith Is Counted Righteous
Romans 4:4-5 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

2. Work Is Work, Grace Is Grace
Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
* If grace have some sort of work in it, or works has some sort of work in it, we ruin the definition of grace or works

3. Law Is Not Of Faith, Jesus Has Redeemed Us From The Law (Galatians 3:12-13)
Galatians 3:12-13 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

SECTION 11: JESUS DID THE PHYSICAL FOR US

1. Jesus Washed Us From Our Sins With His Blood & Made Us King’s And Priests
Revelation 1:4-6 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
* Jesus did the washing for us

2. Jesus Redeemed Us To God By His Blood & Made Us King’s And Priests
Revelation 5:9-10 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
* Jesus did the redeeming for us

Note:
* We dion’t have to do it ourselves to become kings and priest
* because our physical actions have nothing to do with it
* Its all by spiritual, all done by faith

SECTION 12: UNIFIED SPIRITUALLY

1. Spiritually We Are One In Christ Jesus
Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

2. We Are Spiritually Baptized Into One Body In Christ, The Body Of Christ
1 Corinthians 12:13, 27 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
* We are one body in Christ. The body of Christ

Note:
* If we are familiar with our covenants, remember there was a lot of segregation going on in the bible because we saw what unity did
* The unity of animals, mankind brought fallen angels down unifying with everything they could find in the world and made a complete mess in the world so God had to drown out the whole world
* And God put segregation, division, fear between men and animals
* God seperated Shem, Hem and Japeth towards the parts of the earth so that man don't congloremate and unite and start a problem again
* During the Tower of Babel, God put different languages to divide them
* Thats why, in the tribulation, one world government, one world unity thats what brings in the antiChrist satanic kingdom
* God started off with a brand new group of people (the Jews) back then because he wants a group that is seperated from everything of the world. * But the Jews always intermarry and integrated with all groups of people
* Thats why idolatry, wrong practices came in into their culture and their kingdom that God planted & had to do segregated marriage
* Today since we are not in physical dealings (we are under spiritual dealing), that’s why whoever race we are, we are the same brother and sister in Christ because spiritually we are one

SECTION 13: THINGS CHRISTIANS OBSERVE

a. Water Baptism
b. The Law Of Moses: we are going to follow it concerning its spiritual aspects, how it is guided by the Holy Spirit

1. Water Baptism: It Is For Good Conscience Towards God: Not For Washing Away Our Sins
1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
* It is done as a good conscience towards God - how our conscience is lead by the Holy Spirit
* thats why some of us feel that we need to get baptise after we got saved, we know its not part of our salvation but because how the holy spirit was dealing with our conscience

2. The Law Of Moses: When We Love Our Neighbours As Ourselves, And Follow The Holy Spirit, We Already Fulfill All The Law
* "Walk in the Spirit": according to how the Holy Spirit guides our heart
* When we are guided by the Holy Spirit, it replaces that law
* The final authority is not Moses's law but how the Holy Spirit deals with us (spiritual dealings)

SECTION 14: CONFESSION OF SINS IS FOR FELLOWSHIP

1. In Order To Walk In The Light And Not In The Darkenss, We Have To Have That Blood Of Jesus To Cleanse All That Sin Of Darkness
1 John 1:6-7 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
* This is about the context of fellowship - not salvation

2. Confess Our Sins For Forgiveness & To Cleans Our Unrighteousness
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
* This has nothing to do with the sins of our salvation but rather our fellowship with God

* No matter what we sin in the body, its not gonna affect our soul
* But we still commit sin in our body
* When we sin in the body, God is going to judge it

* Thats why its important to confess our sins concerning fellowship with God

Note:
* When it comes to salvation, nothing of our physical works has anything to do with it. Its all spiritual by faith
* Jesus does it all
* Anything that has to do with our physical work is going to be unrelated to our salvation
* The physical works of a Christian will never be a part of salvation, its going to be after salvation
* Its going to be aimed towards fellowship

SECTION 15: SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS FOR CHRISTIAN

1. Christian Walk Is By Faith Not By Sight
2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
* Not miracles like the Jews who have signs and wonders

2. We Overcome The World And Get Victory With Our Faith
1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

3. Jews Require a Sign & Greeks Seek Wisdom
1 Corinthians 1:22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
* Christians are by wisdom

4. The Greatest Wisdom Is The Word Of God (The Bible)
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

5. The Promises And Blessings God Gives To Us Today Is Spiritual
Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

6. To Lay Treasures In Heaven That Can Last
Matthew 6:19-20 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

7. The Kingdom Of God Promised To Us Is Spiritual Kingdom Not On Earth But In Heaven
Matthew 6:31-33 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Note:
* We don't go by the old testament Jews in the bible conquering nations, that was something totally at a different time period, different group of people
* We are not building a physical king on earth, we are building up ourselves - a spiritual kingdom of God
* Thats why our spiritual nature have to be grown more so that our rewards in heaven can grow more
* That’s what we are building for God
