2. Clearing Of Sins
a. Blood Of Jesus Cleanses Us From All Sin
1 John 1:7, 9 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
* cleansing of sins is connected to forgiveness
* today when God forgives us our sins, he clears away our sins
SECTION 2: PROBLEM BEHIND FORGIVENESS
1. Sins Separate Us From God In Heaven
Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
2. The Key For Us To Have Our Sins Cleared Is Forgiveness
Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
3. Because God Is Ready To Forgive, That's Why We Can Pray For God To Save Us And All Those Salvation Terms Can Be Operational
Psalms 86:5-6 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
6 Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

b. The person thinks God has not forgiven him when God has forgiven him
c. He has refused to forgive somebody else
d. Somebody has refused to forgive him and it bothers him

3. Only Through Christ That We Receive Forgiveness Of Sins
Acts 13:38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
4. Jesus Is Our Channel To God For Our Forgiveness
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
SECTION 4: THE FOUNDATION OF FORGIVENESS
* In order for forgiveness to start, these 3 things are involved
1. Forgiveness Is Bestowed On The Grounds Of God's Compassion
Psalms 78:38 But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.
* God was still willing to forgive the people of their sins even when Jesus had not died on the cross yet because of God's compassion
2. Forgiveness Is Based On God's Divine Justice
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
* God can forgive us of our sins and He can clear us of our sins
3. The Blood Of Christ Has Forgiveness

a. The Price Of Sin Is Death
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
* Blood represents death
* someone had to die to pay the price of sin
4. Without Shedding Of Blood Is No Remission
Hebrews 9:14, 19, 22 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
SECTION 5: COMPLETION OF FORGIVENESS
1. No Matter How Many Sins We Comitted, God Is Able And He Can Forgive Us
Luke 7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
2. God Promised He Will Forgive Us Of All Sins

3. God Will Forgive And Cover Transgressions And Will Not Charge Us As A Sinner
Psalms 32:1-2 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
* Impute = charging to one's account
4. God Has Forgiven All Our Trespasses
Colossions 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
5. All Manner Of Sin Shall Be Forgiven Except The Blasphemy Againts The Holy Ghost
Matthew 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
6. Forgiveness Is A Present Possession

7. Salvation Has To Be Complete Because Even One Sin Is Enough To Put Us Out Of Heaven
Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
SECTION 6: THE CONDITIONS OF FORGIVENESS
1. Repentance: Willing To Turn From Sin And Turn To God
Acts 5:31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
* Feeling so wrong about our sin that we don't want to do it anymore
* If we repent, we will be forgiven
2. Salvation By Faith
Luke 7:47, 50 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
3. Confession
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
* when we got saved, we got all our sins completely forgiven from punishment of our soul
* but we still need to have our sins be forgiven from punishment of our body
4. If We Sin In Our Body, God Will Punish Our Body
Galatians 6:7-8 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
SECTION 7: THE FREQUENCY OF FORGIVENESS
1. God Will Always Forgive Us As Many Times We Repent And Confess
a. God Is Faithful To Forgive Us
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
b. We Are Still Forgiven Even If We Commit 7 Or 70 Sins
Luke 17:4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
2. Christians Are To Always Forgive As Much As God
Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
3. Just Because Our Sins Are Always Forgiven, Does Not Mean We Will Always Escape Punishment, But There Are Times God Can Spare The Punishment Depending On Our Sincerity And Situation
a. King David Committed Adultery And Murder. He Confessed To God His Sins. He Was 100% Sincere. God Forgave Him But That Didn't Mean God Spared Him From His Punishment. God Still Took Away His Baby
1 Samuel 12:13-23 Now therefore behold the king whom ye have chosen, and whom ye have desired! and, behold, the LORD hath set a king over you.
14 If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God:
15 But if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as it was against your fathers.
16 Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes.
17 Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto the LORD, and he shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king.
18 So Samuel called unto the LORD; and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel.
19 And all the people said unto Samuel, Pray for thy servants unto the LORD thy God, that we die not: for we have added unto all our sins this evil, to ask us a king.
20 And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart;
21 And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain.
22 For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people.
23 Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:
b. The City Of Ninevah Sin Againts God. They Are Really Wicked People. God Said He Will Destroy Their City In 40 Days. The City Of Ninevah were 100% Sincere And Confessed To God. God Forgave Them And Also Spared His Punishment
Jonah 3:8-10 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
