1 Chronicles 21:16 And David lifted up his eyes, and saw the angel of the LORD stand between the earth and the heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders of Israel, who were clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.

3. Appear And Disappear Out Of No Where
a. Appear And Disappear From The Fire
Daniel 3:24-28 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

5. He Has Great Power And Strength
a. He Kills More Than 185,000 People In One Night
2 Kings 19:35 And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.
b. He Rolled Away The Stone Of Jesus Tomb
Matthew 28:2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

6. He Has Great Knowledge
a. He Knew The Exact Amount Of Food For The Exact Amount Of Miles, Time For Elijah To Cross The Wilderness. He Knew Elijah's Exact Strength And Limits
1 Kings 19:7-8 And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.
8 And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.
b. He Knew The Specific Location For Philip To Preach The Specific Gospel To The Specific Person
Acts 8:26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
SECTION 5: DEITY OF THE ANGEL OF THE LORD
1. The Angel Of The Lord Appears As God
a. God Is The Angel Of The Lord Appearing A Flame Of Fire To Moses
Exodus 3:2-6 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
6 Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

(i) Angel Of The Lord Brought The Jews Out Of Egypt
Judges 2:1 And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.
(ii) God Said He Is The One Who Brought The Jews Out Of Egypt
Exodus 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
4. Angel Of The Lord Is Known To Be The Bodily Form Of God
Judges 13:20-22 For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground.
21 But the angel of the LORD did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was an angel of the LORD.
22 And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God.
5. Jacob Said The Angel Of The Lord Is God
Genesis 48:15-16 And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day,
16 The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.
SECTION 6: PHYSICAL FORM OF THE ANGEL OF THE LORD
1. Jesus Is The Image Of God And Angel Of The Lord
a. No Man Has Seen God
1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
b. We Are Not Supposed To Liken God As Man Made Images
Acts 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
c. Jesus Is The Image Of God
John 14:9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

d. The Godhead Has An Image That Is Jesus

e. Jacob Fights A Man And He Said He Has Seen The Face Of God
Genesis 32:24, 30 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.
* Jacob saw one part of the Godhead that is Jesus Christ
2. Captain = Angel Of The Lord And Jesus
a. Angel Of The Lord Appeared To Joshua. He Appeared As The Lord's Captain
Joshua 5:13-15 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
15 And the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.
Joshua 6:1-2 Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.

Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
3. Jesus And The Angel Of The Lord Has The Power To Forgive Sins

SECTION 7: IDENTITIES OF THE ANGEL OF THE LORD
1. The Angel Of The Lord Rolling Away The Sone Of The Tomb Is Not Jesus
Matthew 28:2, 5 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
2. Gabriel Can Be The Angel Of The Lord
Luke 1:11, 19 And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.
3. Unknown Identity Of The Angel Of The Lord Which Does Not State Whether He Is Gabriel Or Jesus

4. Some People Teach That "An" Angel Of The Lord Is Ordinary Angels or Gabriel But " The" Angel Of The Lord Refers To Jesus Christ.
Answer: It Is Not True. (See verses below for proof)
a. "The" Angel Of The Lord = Flame Of Fire In The Burning Bush
Exodus 3:2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
b. "An" Angel Of The Lord = Flame Of Fire In The Burning Bush
Acts 7:30 And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.
Conclusion:
=> Angel of the Lord could be Jesus, Gabriel or an ordinary angel
